The CEO of OpenAI announced recently that humanity has entered the AI-Singularity and with the breakthroughs on different areas since the advent of the frontier models, from generating art like images and music, debating STEM and HASS and teaching it effectively, solving mathematical equations and problems, assisting on software development and generating codes, cybersecurity functions, to solving standing open mathematics problems, to creating synthetic virus, and many more, it is very obvious that such statements on AI-Singularity is already true. The implications is enormous. Modern AI systems such as the frontier models from the US and open-weight models from China are not only solving problems but solving hard problems that will contribute to the growth of humanity.
Migrated my personal workstation from its current Windows 10 Pro OS under extended support, to a Debian based Linux distribution, specifically AntiX 26 which based from the Debian 13 Trixie code base. This is to harden the workstation against potential AI cyber attacks in the future given the capabilities of AI these days on not only defensive but also offensive cybersecurity capabilities.
Setup is using AntiX 26 Full distro with a very lightweight window manager. BIOS security enabled, hard drive encryption enabled and requires password past BIOS boot-up and moves to Linux boot-up which then requires user login.
Latest work involved putting back an old laptop back to life with a new version of the AntiX Linux distribution which is based on Debian 13 code base. It is a Lenovo G40 AMD A8 with two GPUs, one integtrated and one dedicated with the latter having 2GB VRAM. Instead of throwing it away, I find it useful for mobile computing having the capability to run small LLMs fast with its dedicated GPU with 2GB RAM.

Been focused on reviewing all aspects of the general field of software engineering and specifics of the Java programming language and related technologies on the backend using Spring Boot for REST API and with Spring Data JPA, Identity Platform, Security, Observability, CI/CD, Cloud, Enterprise Integration, Middleware, Design Patterns, and others.
I got rusty on the algorithm side so I started just recently on the basics of algorithm and its code to awaken my neurons. I started doing this using the Java programming language but I realized it is better to do it recently with the C programming language since both are the same in the code syntax and almost the same in the code semantics except for things like array parameters where in the latter it becomes a pointer.
